The Alumni Association of SCUT (AASCUT) was founded on November 17, 1984 during the 32nd anniversary of SCUT. It provides a channel for communication between all the alumni and SCUT, oversees the direction of alumni organizations and programs, and maintains the stature of SCUT. AASCUT comprises a Council of alumni representatives, including the Chairman, the Vice-Chairmen and the Secretary General. After an expansion and development about 33 years, AASCUT has broadened its team into 140 branches, with more than 360,000 alumni worldwide.
