Program Overview

Since 2013, the Ministry of Education established the Chinese Government Scholarship - Youth of Excellence Scheme of China Program. In order to strengthen cooperation between China and other countries in the development and reserve of high-level international human resources, and to cultivate senior management talents who understand the management system and mode of Chinese industrial and commercial enterprises, South China University of Technology has launched the MBA Program for Developing Countries, which has successfully trained 10 graduates.

Teaching Arrangements

Period of Study: One Year

Medium of Instruction: English

Main Courses: Management and Organizational Theory, Public Policy Analysis, Enterprise Development Strategy, Chinese Culture and Intercultural Communication, Market Analysis and Development, Managerial Economics, Operations Management, Corporate Culture and Ethics, Enterprise Practice Project.

Application Requirements

Applicants shall meet the following basic requirements:

1.Non-Chinese Nationality. Under the age of 45 years old (Before September 1st of the year of enrollment), mentally and physically healthy

2.Bachelor degree or above, those who must obtain 3 years or above work experience

3. Applicants should be in one of the following four categories:

(1) Public officials at the division level (or corresponding level) and above in the government department of the host country

(2) Senior managers of institutions or enterprises

(3) Administrative personnel of universities or scientific research institutions

(4) People with relevant experience or internships in international organizations 

4. IELTS 6.0/TOEFL 80 or above, other equivalent English language qualifications

How to Apply

Step 1: Apply at SCUT online application portal: http://scut.edu.cn/apply. 

Applicants who pass the pre-admission review will receive the Pre-admission Letter issued by the university

Step 2: Apply at CSC application portal: www.campuschina.org before March 30, 2025

Step 3: Applicants must submit the following documents:

1.The information page of valid Ordinary Passport (passport should be valid for at least 1 year from the date of application)

2.Bachelor degree certificate and academic transcripts (original copy and notarized photocopy)

3.Study or research plan (written in English, no less than 1000 words)

4.Two recommendation letters from professors or employers (please specify referee’s contact number and email address)

5.Working certificate

6.Relevant English language qualifications

7.Foreigner Physical Examination Form (must be filled out in Chinese or English, the result is only valid for 1 year)
