Meeting Between the Two Parties

On March 17, 2017, a delegation led by Ms Hui Yanyan, Dean, and Prof. Fu Zhigang, visited SCUT. The five members of the delegation were from the School of International Education of Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University. Deputy Dean Liu Cheng and Ms. Ye Min from the Academic Affairs Office, Ms. Feng Li from the Student Affairs Office, and Ms. Lv Jianhong from the Admission Office hosted the delegation. 

Prof. Liu Cheng began by welcoming Ms. Hui and the delegation to SCUT then visiting the Multicultural Gallery of International Students SCUT. During the meeting, Prof. Liu made a general introduction of organizational structure, discussed the development of the international education of SIE, and shared experience on student management and cultivation. There was also discussion of English-taught course construction, the management of international students, and recruitment. Prof. Liu introduced the process of the authentication system for institutions of higher learning in China to educate international students.

The meeting enhanced understanding between the two universities. Both sides are looking forward to strengthening cooperation in the area of international education.
