The Opening Ceremony of the Audi Confucius Institute, which is a cooperative program set up by South China University of Technology(SCUT), Audi AG, the municipal government of Ingolstadt and Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI), was successfully completed on 23 May 2017. 

Named after Audi AG, a world-famous automobile brand locates in the city of Ingolstadt, the Audi Confucius Institute is the world’s first Confucius Institute that involves funding support and cooperation from a multinational enterprise.
