In order to enhance the security management of student accommodation and improve students’ security awareness and self-protection abilities, SIE organized international students to attend fire safety training at B8 Parking lot at 16th April. The staff from International students’ affair office and staff from student accommodation also attended the training.

The fire protection professionals of SCUT taught students how to use the gas masks, fire extinguishers and other tools and introduced correct way to put out the fire and protect themselves. Then international students used fire extinguishers to put out the fire and used the gas masks. The fire protection professionals of SCUT provided guidance for new international students.

The fire safety training in 2015 focused on fresh students, which would be useful for students to protect themselves when they met fire disaster.
