April 13rd to 18th, 2015, invited by United Chinese School Committees’ Association of Malaysia (Short Name: Dong Zong), Prof. Hailong Pei, the Deputy Dean of School of Automation Science and Engineering, SCUT, and Wenfei Zhou, the Project Manager at SIE attended the Exhibition of Chinese Higher Education in 2015 in Malaysia. The Exhibition of Chinese Higher Education in 2015 was held at Him Hua High School and Yuk Choy High School respectively. More than 30 key universities in China, such as Renmin University of China and Nanning University, attended this exhibition.
SCUT delegation introduced the current condition of SCUT to the students, parents and teachers, especially on the condition of education, majors, research, faculty, recruitment policy for international students and scholarship. More than ten students submitted their application materials to the delegation, and 50 students with their parents consulted with the delegation about studying at SCUT and the majors.
During the exhibition, the delegation paid a visit to University of Malaya. The representatives from International Office in the University of Malaya exchanged the ideas on joint training programs and exchange program.
SCUT has cultivated hundred of international students from Malaysia, and university would like to recruit more international students from Malaysia.
